Asiasoft Announces Its Dividend Against Economic Crisis

Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited announces its dividend payment to shareholders 0.58 baht per share assuring its strategy of year 2010 to achieve the highest growth ever.

April 26, 2010 - Mr. Pramoth Sudjitporn, CEO of Asiasoft Corporation Public Co.,Ltd, no.1 online game  provider in Southeast Asia, has revealed that the net profit of year 2009 as ended at 31 December 2009 is  218.81 million baht in which Thailand has achieved 45% profit increased, while foreign countries have decreased profit from the games that have not reached the expected plan and economy that has not been fully recovered.

Mr.Pramoth said, "The company's operating result has the satisfying growth; therefore, the dividend resolution came up with the payment rate at 0.58 baht per share. On September 9, 2009, the dividend was paid at the rate 0.23 baht and the rest 0.35 baht will be paid by the later half of the year on May 17, 2010". 

"Key success factors for such a good profit in Thailand result from efficient cost management and sales expense control, while overall revenue from foreign countries - Singapore, and Malaysia was decreased last year because there were games that have not reached the plan and the economy that have not been recovered. However, in the year 2010, the company has set its business strategy to stimulation the market in order to expand more customer coverage by launching up to 14 games - the most number ever since the beginning of the company. 8 games are for Thailand, 4 games for Singapore, and 2 games for Malaysia. It has also developed new business concept called @Global Games that the game server in Singapore is shared to 6 countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines). Moreover, cost reduction and team structure downsizing in foreign countries is exercised in order to consolidate working unit from 200 people into 140 people. In Thailand, the company has expanded its business alliance to capture new business formats such as Kingsoft Internet Security, a computer security program which has been introduced for the first time in Thailand. The business is to be expanded further to foreign countries in the future."

Mr.Pramoth added, "With the 2010 dissemination business strategy, the company expects 20% revenue increase. It will mainly focus on the investment and penetration to Vietnam market since the country has many positive factors supporting business growth i.e. 80 million population consisting of 20 million people at the age of internet users with the increasing trend, total market value of 3,500 million baht comparing to 65 million population of Thailand market consisting of 16 million internet users. The investment is planned to go to Philippines and Indonesia respectively".

"From our aggressive marketing plan for both domestic and foreign markets, we are convinced that overall performance will be increasing in the year 2010 which will consequently show the highest figure ever", Mr. Pramoth concluded.
