Market leader Asiasoft announces IPO plan
To expand its leadership position in online gaming industry in Southeast Asia
Bangkok, 25 October 2007 - Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited, the online gaming leader in Southeast Asia, recently announced its plan to offer 75 million shares to the public via an Initial Public Offering (IPO) through the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC).
The purpose of the IPO is to raise capital to expand its positioning in the region, especially Asiasoft's online service in Vietnam and Malaysia where the company is ranked in second place and growth has been very strong. Asiasoft is currently the largest online game company in Thailand and Singapore.
