Asiasoft All-Star Battle, year’s biggest online games competition ends with success

Asiasoft All-Star Battle, the year's biggest online game tournament, enjoys an overwhelming success with over 1,000 tournament participants and 20,000 spectators. The event also marks historic auction of rare items valued over 1,526,900 baht for donation to Gamers Love Dad Projec

 

During January 23-25 this year, Asiasoft Corporation PLC, Thailand's leading online entertainment hosted "Asiasoft All-Star Battle", biggest online game tournament of the year at Infinity hall Paragon Cineplex, 5th floor of Siam Paragon Shopping Complex. The tournament included 7 popular games namely Sudden Attack, Audition, FreeStyle, Cabal, Yulgang, Ghost Online and Granado Espada, with over 1,000 tournament participants from all over the country and over 20,000 spectators.

In addition, the event also marks a historic initiative for the online game circle, which is an auction of rare items with proceeds being donated to Gamers Love Dad year 3 Project and will be presented to His Majesty the King for support to children under his patronage. Games included in the auction were Audition, Cabal, Yulgang, Ghost Online, Granado Espada, Ragnarok and Maple Story with total value worth 1,526,900 baht. Another 10,120 baht was also donated to the project by gamers.

Asiasoft All-Star Battle helps spark the interest in e-sport in Thailand. Asiasoft is determined to develop the country's online game community to the level matches that of the international communities with more of national-level tournaments in the near future.
