Asiasoft discloses second quarter net profits with steady growth and dividend payments of 0.43 baht per share

Mr. Pramoth Sudjitporn, CEO of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited, reveals the business profits of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited, or its stock name, AS. "According to the overall profits for the second quarter of 2010, the company's net profits show a growth rate of 60% as compared to the second quarter of last year. The company was able to gain a net profit of 73.9 million baht in comparison with the second quarter of 2009, which showed a net profit equal to 46.3 million baht with reduced sales-administrative costs as compared to income, including improved work performance in foreign countries, which is a result of growing income and cost reduction with effective team structure modifications in foreign countries in terms of capital and sales-administration costs, thus putting the net profit from abroad in the second quarter of 2010 at approximately 3 million baht as compared to the second quarter of last year, which showed a profit loss of approximately 10 million baht. When considered in terms of net profits for the first half of 2010, the net profit is equal to 136.7 million baht, or a growth rate of 83%, as compared to the net profit of the first half of 2009, which was equal to 74.6 million baht."

"As for our business plans in the second half of the year, the company project 2010 income will experience 20% growth from our plans to launch four new games, two of which will be launched domestically, while another two will be introduced in foreign countries. A new game launched in Thailand during the third quarter has brought new life to the gaming community and Rohan is now generating the highest income in MMORPG games. On the first day the game was introduced, Rohan players doubled the number of gamers playing 12Sky, which was the game generating income for the company in the first quarter of this year. Coming soon is a new game called Eight Thep ArSoon Mung Korn Far made from the masterpiece of Kim Yong which has enjoyed popularity in several countries around the world with 250 million players worldwide. Another two new games will also be launched abroad. In comparison with the first half of last year when no new games were launched, these new introductions are anticipated to produce income for the company in the second half of the year.
