May, 2011 - Mr. Pramoth Sujitporn, CEO of Asiasoft Corporation Plc. has shared company performance that "In the 1st quarter of 2011, company enjoyed 10% growth in both domestic and international markets with total revenue of 401.54 million Baht, compared with 366.48 million Baht of last year. Company enjoys growth of 11% with net profit of 69.99 million, compared with 62.84 million Baht of last year. More growth is expected in the coming years and company applies proactive strategies to capture growth of 20%"
Company's affiliates enjoy favorable performance both in terms of revenue and profit; success is derived from revenue of old and new games, with revenue growth of 19% in international market or 120.46 million, compared with 101.28 million Baht of last year. Total profit is 13.37 million Baht or 11% net profit versus last year with profit of 0.95 million Baht and net profit of 0.9%. Another company's affiliate, Funbox earns revenue growth of 131%, from 11.66 million Baht to 26.99 million Baht from the success of new games. Consequently, profit in this quarter is 2.81 million or net 10% compared with 1.32-million Baht loss and -11% net profit of last year.
"Company looks forward to using aggressive policy; apart from investing in Indonesia, company plans to launch 12 games in domestic market and 4 games in international market, as well as presents FPS game (Shooting online) to penetrate both domestic market and South East Asia. Currently, company has invested in website business by buying 40% stock of Thaiware Communication Co., Ltd. or Thaiware.com, the hub of software download from Thailand and foreign countries. This website will be another channel to sell software of Asiasoft. With these promising plans, we are confident that 20% growth can be achieved" concluded Mr. Pramoth.
