13 November 2012 - Mr. Pramote Sudjitporn, Chief Executive Office of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited that the third quarter performance 2012, Asiasoft earned overall revenue of 481.7 million Baht, or 22.4 % increase from the same period of last year of 393.5 million Baht and net profits of 68.9 million Baht or increase 0.5% from last year of 68.5 million Baht. The company also announced an interim dividend in respect of the third quarter performance of Baht 0.23 per share. The decrease in net income was mainly the rising in the marketing and promotion expenses due to the open of new games for Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 for both domestic and overseas in total of 10 games, the expenses in total of 22 million baht compared to last year of 14 million baht or an increase of 57%.
The operating results of the overseas subsidiaries, grew by 49% from 147.8 million Baht to 220.8 million baht particularly, Asiasoft recognized a full third quarter of revenue from CIB Development in Malaysia. Revenue from domestic grew by 6% from 260.8 million Baht to 245.6 from the same period of last year due to the opening of new games.
During the first nine months, the company's revenue increased 23.6% from last year, which meet our expectation, especially the fourth quarter was the best quarter for company in the past, due to a lot of sales promotion. We are confident that company can surely achieve 25% growth in revenue.
