12 November 2013 - Mr. Kenny Goh, Chief Financial Officer of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited announced that the company has proposed to pay an interim dividend of Baht 0.10 per share in respect of the third quarter performance. The Company reported 2013 third quarter overall revenue of 414.49 Million Baht, a 15 % decrease from the same period of last year (2012: 487.69 Million Baht). Net profits for the quarter reported 15.55 Million Baht, 76% lower than last year (2012: 65.01 Million Baht). Nine months revenue recorded 1,312.63 Million Baht, showing a decrease of 15% from the last year (2012: 1,511.79 Million Baht).

The operating results for third quarter reflected a weak performance in both domestic and overseas revenue. The Company made lower sales from packaged products due to lack of new packaged product launches. Online revenue also slowed down due to weak performance in new game launches, coupled with delays in new game launches.

Mr. Goh reported that the company continues to develop its Regional "AAA" Game Strategy and has partnered with the game developer of Heroes of Newerth (HON), S2 to service the Second Generation MOBA game "Strife" in South East Asia. Strife is expected to go into beta launched within 2013. The Company had successfully launched the most anticipated "Ragnarok 2" in Thailand in October this year, which brought in more than 1 million register users in just the past few weeks. Following the successful launch of "Ragnorok 2", the Company will be launching in December, the "Ragnorok Valkyrie", our first mobile game.

Mr. Goh updated that the company is completing the restructuring exercise of its regional operations within 2013 and is expecting to see a more effective and dynamic regional execution in 2014. The Company expects to see a turnaround next year although the performance for this year will be weaker than last year.
