Pocket MapleStorySEA, the latest mobile title from Playpark by Asiasoft PCL, is currently the hottest mobile action game in Southeast Asia today. Pocket MapleStorySEA shot high on the App Store Top Free Games charts on its first day of launch with help from MapleStory fans in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

The mobile game held the number one spot in Thailand and Singapore App Store on the day after its release while ranking second in Malaysia’s.

Miss Siriratt Waisarayutt, Deputy Managing Director of Asiasoft PCL, said, “Pocket MapleStorySEA is Asiasoft’s important milestone in the mobile games market this year. We owe this success to the fan base we built from the PC version of MapleStorySEA. They showed tremendous support for the mobile version of this game since pre-registration and helped us chart high the store ranks. We will continue to improve our games and customer service to keep our fans satisfied.”

“To thank our supporters, we will be holding events for local Pocket Maplers. We are also working closely with our developers to ensure quality content for Pocket MapleStorySEA and climb up the grossing ranks in Google Play and App Store,” Miss Siriratt commented.

Besides Pocket MapleStorySEA, Asiasoft also launched Gulong Online in March. Gulong Online is an action strategy mobile game adapted from the classic Chinese novel series. It is well-received in Thailand, and is now receiving great feedback from players, growing steadily on the Top Grossing Game charts with five-star reviews. Players mainly commented about Gulong Online’s great game graphics and the unique gameplay style stands out among other Chinese-inspired games today.

Asiasoft’s other mobile title, Dragon Encounter, saw an increase in downloads by three-fold on the same day of Pocket MapleStorySEA’s launch.

“We are confident in ensuring successful launches for our mobile games to achieving our business objectives. This year, we will also launch 17 more mobile games and 7 PC games in 6 countries in Southeast Asia, including previously launched games with the mature PC gamers and anticipated new games for current players,” Miss Siriratt added.
